Ingredients

Active Bean Bars are made with the highest quality, all natural ingredients. You may not be familiar with some of the specialized ingredients that we use to add moisture, fiber, antioxidants and texture to our bars. Below we describe these ingredients in detail.

Vegetable Glycerine

Vegetable glycerine is a thick clear liquid derived from coconut, soy bean or palm oil and is used in our bars as a humectant and binder. The vegetable glycerine that we use in Active Bean Bars is made from organic palm oil.

Gum Acacia

Gum acacia is the fiber-rich hardened sap of an acacia tree used as a binder in food products. This is what gives our Active Bean Bars their signature chewy texture.

Pea Fiber

The pea fiber in Active Bean Bars comes from the endosperm of non-GMO yellow peas, enriching the bars' dietary fiber.  We all can use some fiber to keep us satiated and help us power through our tasks.

Tapioca Fiber

Tapioca fiber, a natural soluble fiber that comes from the cassava root, helps boost the dietary fiber in our bars.

Chicory Root Fiber

Chicory root fiber, a prebiotic soluble fiber (inulin), extracted from chicory roots, further boosts the dietary fiber in our bars.

Fermented Oregano and Flaxseed

Fermented oregano and flaxseed are natural mold inhibitors.

Jasmine Tea Extract

Jasmine tea extract is a natural tea-based antioxidant.
